SIDAL DEV ("we", "us", or "our") provides Pagrix: PDF Scanner ("Pagrix"), an Android application for scanning, viewing, organizing, and processing PDF documents.
Documents and files
Pagrix allows users to select, create, scan, view, organize, and process documents on their device.
Pagrix does not require users to create an account.
Documents selected or created by the user are processed by the application for the features requested by the user, such as scanning documents, creating PDFs, merging PDFs, splitting PDFs, compressing PDFs, converting images to PDF, viewing files, and organizing files.
Pagrix does not intentionally upload users' PDF documents, scanned pages, images, or Vault contents to SIDAL DEV servers.
Files may leave the application when the user explicitly chooses an action such as sharing or opening a document using another application. In that case, the selected external application or service is responsible for its own handling of the file.
Device permissions and file access
Pagrix may request access to device features or files when necessary to provide functionality selected by the user. This can include camera access for document scanning and access to files or media selected by the user.
These permissions are used to provide the requested application functionality.
Advertising
Pagrix uses Google AdMob to display advertisements.
The Google Mobile Ads SDK may automatically collect or process information such as IP address, device or advertising identifiers, app interactions, advertising information, and diagnostic or performance information.
This information may be used for advertising, analytics, fraud prevention, and related purposes.
Google's handling of information is governed by Google's applicable privacy policies and terms.
Consent and privacy choices
Pagrix uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to obtain or manage privacy choices where required.
Depending on the user's location and applicable privacy requirements, Google may display a consent or privacy message before advertising services are enabled.
Where required, users can revisit applicable advertising privacy choices through the Privacy options control available within Pagrix.
Third-party services
Pagrix uses Google services including:
- Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads SDK
- Google User Messaging Platform
These services may process information according to Google's own terms and privacy policies.
Data security
Pagrix is designed so that its document-processing functionality operates on files available to the application on the user's device.
We take reasonable measures to avoid unnecessary collection or transmission of document contents.
Information transmitted by third-party services such as Google is subject to the security practices of those service providers.
Data retention and deletion
Pagrix does not provide user accounts and does not maintain a SIDAL DEV cloud account containing the user's documents.
Users can delete documents and other locally stored content through available application controls or by removing application data from their device, subject to files they have separately saved or exported outside the application.
Data processed independently by third-party services is subject to those providers' respective retention and deletion practices.
Children's privacy
Pagrix is a general-purpose productivity application and is not designed specifically for children.
Advertising and privacy configuration will be applied consistently with the target-audience declarations made for Pagrix in Google Play Console.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when Pagrix's functionality, third-party services, or legal requirements change.
The effective date shown above will identify the latest version.
